JERROD NIEMANN SALUTES 100 YEARS OF U.S. ARMY III CORPS; HEADLINES USO CONCERT AT FORT HOOD, TEXAS (9/28)

Curb Records’ chart-topping Country star JERROD NIEMANN helped salute the U.S. Army III Corps’ 100th anniversary Friday night (9/28), performing a rousing USO concert experience at the Corps’ home base at Fort Hood, Texas.

Attended by Fort Hood Soldiers and their families, Niemann deployed his entire arsenal of hits – including PLATINUM-certified smashes “Lover, Lover” and “Drink to That All Night” – plus his patriotic new anthem “Old Glory,” which the singer describes as “100 percent heart, zero percent politics.” It was a fitting tribute to a group of soldiers who have been serving their country with impeccable honor since World War I.

“III Corps is celebrating 100 years of battle-proven excellence as America’s Hammer,” remarked III Corps Public Affairs Officer U.S. Army Col. Myles B. Caggins III. “And we’re happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with the USO and Jerrod Niemann.”

On his first USO tour in 2016, Niemann established a deep connection with the military, learning firsthand from service members about the important moments they were sacrificing to serve their country – things like dance recitals and birthdays, anniversaries and more. Then after hearing news of the Tongo Tongo ambush in Niger – which took place almost exactly one year ago today on October 4, 2017 – Niemann was inspired to write the resolute “Old Glory,” about the American flag, performing the song during that year’s USO Holiday Tour where he joined Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joe Dunford as they visited service members in Iraq, Afghanistan, Spain and Poland.

A day before the Fort Hood concert, Niemann also helped launch USO Fort Hood’s new CONNECT AND CREATE program, a first-of-its-kind initiative at the base designed to connect parents and children as they learn, create and experience music. Niemann jammed with the military families in attendance, shared stories and donated guitars to the USO program, courtesy of his FREE THE MUSIC USA non-profit organization.

"It’s no secret that I have an infinite affinity for the brave men and women of our military,” shared Niemann. “I'm so honored to visit Fort Hood and play a concert saluting this milestone U.S. Army III Corps’ anniversary. Having the opportunity to support our heroes by teaming up with the unbelievable folks at the USO has changed my life. To help launch their CONNECT AND CREATE program and give back by donating guitars means the world. God Bless Old Glory!”

“Recognizing the unique challenges faced by military children, CONNECT AND CREATE fosters the belief that music is a universal language kids can take with them no matter where they are in the world,” said Isabel Hubbard, USO Fort Hood Center Director.

JERROD NIEMANN'S FEEL-GOOD JAM "I GOT THIS" HITS COUNTRY RADIO AIRWAVES

Curb Records hitmaker JERROD NIEMANN is back at Country radio this week with the fun, upbeat song, “I Got This,” from his latest studio album THIS RIDE. Penned by a trio of Country’s hottest writers – Rodney Clawson (Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan), Josh Osborne (Kenny Chesney, Sam Hunt) and Luke Dick (Eric Church, Miranda Lambert) – the “strutting indie-pop jam” (Rolling Stone Country) was one of the Top 3 most added songs at Country radio with 33 stations on board first week.

"'I Got This’ really represents how my new music has evolved,” shared Niemann. “It has the vibe and groove that draws me towards songs. We used some of our very favorite tones and textures in the studio to amplify and uplift the lyrics and melody. Hopefully everyone will be toe tapping and singin’ along.”

Recently, Neimann had the chance to talk all about THIS RIDE and new tune “I Got This” with Suzanne Alexander for GAC’s Great American Playlist and Cody Alan for CMT Hot 20 Countdown. The singer-songwriter also shared the accompanying music video, which was filmed by director Ryan Hamblin in a vibey studio in Nashville.

Later this month, Niemann will join the USO’s 76th annual star-studded holiday tour as the musical guest. Led by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph F. Dunford Jr., he’ll have the opportunity to visit with and perform for service members stationed internationally.

“After a life-changing USO tour last year, I couldn’t be more excited to give my appreciation to service members overseas during the holidays,” enthused Niemann. “While I can’t yet say where and when we’re going yet, I’ll send updates with the troops once we get there.”

Jerrod Niemann Returns With Daring New Album 'This Ride' October 6

Nashville, Tenn. (August 18, 2017) – Hitmaking singer-songwriter JERROD NIEMANN returns with a daring set of free-thinking Country tunes this fall, asTHIS RIDE hits the street October 6. Announced exclusively on Entertainment Tonight’s Certified Country today, THIS RIDE – his fourth major album and his first for Curb Records – marks the beginning of a new chapter for the PLATINUM-certified #1 singer (“Lover, Lover,” “Drink to That All Night”). Niemann, regarded as one of Country music’s most progressive artists, has nearly a decade of outside-the-box success as a songwriter, singer, and performer under his belt.

“My new record, THIS RIDE, represents a journey of life and music, and where it’s led me today as a man and an artist,” shared Niemann. “These songs either dig up some old yesterdays or make me look forward to tomorrow. That’s why I’ve never been more excited to share THIS RIDE.”

Co-produced by Niemann himself with studio ace Jimmie Lee Sloas – who also co-produced 2014’s HIGH NOON – THIS RIDE features 13 inspired songs that reveal where Country music is headed through the organic approach of its past, ranging in style from soulful anthem to red-hot party banger, and from lighthearted jam to deeply meaningful ballad.

Sourced from a stable of all-star tunesmiths including Shane McAnally, Ashley Gorley, Ross Copperman, Rodney Clawson, Craig Wiseman, Dallas Davidson, Natalie Hemby, Josh Osborne, Chris DeStefano and more, each track bucks the conventional country wisdom – just as Niemann has done throughout his career.

Meanwhile, the same resonating vocals that made the sultry “What Do You Want” into a GOLD-certified Top 5 hit are back, and ‘90s country icons Diamond Rio guest in a harmonious standout.

Fans and critics alike have already praised THIS RIDE’s first two singles – the feel-good “A Little More Love” duet with longtime friend and labelmate Lee Brice, and the classy romance of “God Made A Woman” – with Rolling Stone Country gushing that the latter “seems to reflect an evolution for both the country singer and the genre itself.”

Here’s a complete track listing for Jerrod Niemann’s THIS RIDE:

Niemann’s long string of success dates back to 2010 with the #1 debut of JUDGE JERROD & THE HUNG JURY – which The New York Times named one of the 10 best albums of the year. Each of his next two albums landed inside the Top 10 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart, but along with big wins as an artist, the Kansas native has also made his mark as a hit songwriter for others.

His celebrated catalog includes cuts by Blake Shelton, Lee Brice, John Anderson, Jamey Johnson, The Cadillac Three, and most notably Garth Brooks, who took the Niemann co-write “Good Ride Cowboy” to #1 in 2005 as a tribute to the great Chris LeDoux.

Niemann is also dedicated to giving back, founding the Free the Music USA charity to provide children in need with musical instruments and joining the 8th Annual ACM Lifting Lives® Music Camp in 2017.

A gifted and engaging entertainer, he has toured with superstars like Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, and Brad Paisley throughout his career, and continues on the road this year with coast-to-coast dates scheduled from Florida to California through November.

Jerrod Niemann Gets Happy Birthday Serenade from Marilyn Monore

Jerrod Niemann celebrated his birthday with a gig in Nashville on Friday night (7/21), and little did he know but he was in for a big surprise.

While the crowd sang “Happy Birthday,” Niemann was presented with a giant cake that contained a special guest: his wife Morgan, decked out as Marilyn Monroe.

“I’m never really at a loss for words. If you know me, I’m at a loss for words,” shared the nearly-speechless Niemann. “I must say honey, I gotta admit, I’m gonna cheat on you tonight with a blonde…This lady right here is not only the woman of my dreams, but the woman of my reality, thank God.”
